Since 2016, he has focused on the impact of algorithms and AI on decision-making for governments, corporations, and advocates working to balance hype, harm, and opportunity in AI adoption.
Jed has previously served as a digital director and strategic communications advisor for organizations including the Ford Foundation, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Citizens and Technology Lab at Cornell University.
