Accountability Lab awards 2 Liberian artists

Accountability Lab has awarded two Liberian artists for winning its Rap2Rep musical campaign. Ms. Hellen Smith emerged as winner of the campaign, receiving a grand prize of US$ 300, while Andrew Horton came second, taking away US$ 200 at the award ceremony held on July 17, 2020, on Carey Street, Monrovia. Governments need to build trust

The Country Director of Accountability Lab, Lawrence Yealue has observed that the Government of Liberia is not building trust among the population, something he said is responsible for violation of health protocols announced. “One of the reasons why we see Relight, and Duala market dwellers continue to don’t care for health measures and mandate to observe social distance is due to lack of trust from their government”, he noted. Accountability Lab Challenges Government to be Transparent in COVID-19 Fight

Monrovia, Liberia: Civil Society group, Accountability Lab is urging stakeholders fighting killer virus Corona, to consider accountability and transparency as key pillows in the national effort.
